Desert Day 40 is a guided spiritual retreat designed to help you reframe your wilderness, recognize its purpose, and walk through it with grace, clarity, and hope.
The wilderness is often uncomfortable, unclear, and overwhelming — a place where God can feel distant. Yet, it is also where He often draws nearest. This one-day retreat invites you to:

Join us for a peaceful and soul-refreshing Desert Day Retreat at the cozy Retreat House on the beautiful grounds of Country Lake Retreat Center in Underwood, Indiana. Our day together will begin with arrival between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 18, and conclude around 5:00 p.m. that evening.
The $125 registration fee includes a full day of rest and renewal—featuring biblical teaching, guided creative sessions, a thoughtfully designed workbook to continue your journey beyond the retreat, as well as breakfast, lunch, and nourishing snacks throughout the day.

Silent Night Women’s Retreat
Join us for Silent Night, a 24-hour silent retreat, where we embrace the transformative power of stillness in the midst of life's chaos. Reflecting on the humble birth of Jesus, we invite you to prepare your heart for the gift of the Savior this season. Experience guided stillness through self-reflection exercises, biblical teachings to cultivate a rhythm of silence in your life, and creative activities that deepen your connection with Christ in a tranquil environment. This retreat offers an opportunity to quiet the distractions that prevent you from hearing God’s voice, allowing you to discover profound peace and a renewed understanding of the true meaning of Christmas. Come, be still with us, and uncover His light and presence in the silence.
This unique and timely silent retreat for women will be held at the peaceful Country Lake Retreat Center in Underwood, Indiana. Participants will arrive between 4-5 p.m. on Friday, December 5 and depart at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 6. Each attendee will enjoy a single occupancy room and three nourishing meals. Registration of $195 includes a unique, supported experience guiding attendees through a 24-hour silent retreat as well as one night of single-occupancy lodging, three meals, Biblical teachings, meaningful creative expression opportunities and more. Deadline to register is Friday, November 21.
Family Camp
Family Camp is a special weekend at Country Lake. For those who have made it a family tradition or for those who are venturing out for the first time, Family Camp offers something for everyone. From adventure and action with paintball, zip lining and one of the most dynamic lake beaches in the area to peaceful walks, lazy afternoons in a hammock, or chilling by the pool.
Join in family activities that are appropriate for all ages and be refreshed through authentic worship, engaging speakers and inspiring guests. Our prayer is that you and your family are able to leave some of the daily struggles behind and truly find rest and reconnection with the ones you love and care for the most.
Unlocked Conference 2025
In one day we provide leaders space to dream, time to develop ideas, and tools to solve problems. Country Lake serves as an inspiring backdrop for our four sessions, allowing participants to connect and collaborate while enjoying a chef-prepared lunch, premium coffee, and natual light filled workspaces. Your registration also includes a 80 plus page workbook, along with lunch and coffee.

Country Lake Community Fall Fest
Country Lake’s Community Day Fall Fest is truly a day of Family Adventure. Beginning with the third annual Country Lake 5K (Click HERE to register) at 9am the day will be full of adventure, food, live music and activities for the whole family. Feed your craving for adventure on the mega zip line that spans over three football fields in length and keep the adrenaline pumping with paintball, axe throwing, archery or off-road Jeep Rides. If relaxing is more your cup of tea, bring a lawn chair, grab some food from a variety of food trucks and enjoy live music, a hayride around Country Lake’s 200 acre property, pumpkin painting or other fun, family friendly activities. Admission is free, parking is free and all activities are free for the day. Saturday, October 19, 9am-5pm
