4 ROLES

LIFEGUARD

Our lifeguards ensure safety at the lake and pool while engaging with guests of all ages. The white sand beach offers canoeing, kayaking, and a swim area with water slides, a giant blob, and inflatable toys, all supervised by our lifeguards.

ACTIVITY FACILITATOR

Country Lake facilitators will receive training on safety and creating engaging, fun experiences that help participants overcome fears and anxieties. This role also develops valuable management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

CULINARY

Meals are vital at Country Lake, and the Culinary team plays a key role in providing great food and creating an inviting atmosphere. Mealtime fosters ministry and life-changing conversations, and we seek a culinary team that supports this mission in all they do.

SUPPORT STAFF

The support role at CL is diverse and contributes to various departments by creating a positive camper experience. Responsibilities include aiding in activity preparations and ensuring safety, assisting with the Snack Shack and mealtimes, and joining the housekeeping team on “flip” days to clean facilities for the next group.

Are you wanting a higher level of commitment for a rewarding summer of work? If so, this program could be just what you're looking for! It provides an opportunity to work between 30 to45 hours each week, along with a pay increase and a bonus at the end of the summer, running from May 23rd-August 9th. Join us for a fulfilling experience that combines hard work with great rewards!

ROLE DETAILS

  • General Role:

    • Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

    • Work hours will range from 4-30 hours a week, across 1-5 days, at a rate of $14/hour.

    • Must be lifeguard certified.

    • We will provide and pay for the necessary training.

    • Attendance at 3 out of 4 training sessions before summer is required.

    • Training Dates: April 26, May 3, 10, 17

    • This does not include certification dates.

    *This does not include certification dates.

  • • Work hours will range from 30-45 hours a week, across 5-6 days, at a rate of $16/hour.

    • Can only request off 7 days from May 23-July 31 and it cannot be a “blackout”date. Blackout dates are days that require the highest number of staff in order to effectively serve our guests. 

    • Black out dates include: June 3-5, June 7-9,
    June 28-30, July 13-15, July 17-19, July 21-July 23, July 25-27

    • Applicants must be lifeguard certified. We will provide and pay for the necessary training.

    • Attendance at 3 out of 4 training sessions before summer is required.

    • Training Dates: April 26, May 3, 10, 17

    • This does not include certification dates.

    • Eligible for $500 bonus at the end of summer!

    *Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

  • General Role:

    • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

    • Work hours will range from 4-30 hours a week, across 1-5 days, at a rate of $15/hour.

    • Must be certified to lead activities.

    • We will provide and pay for the necessary training.

    • Attendance at 3 out of 4 training sessions before summer is required.

    • Training Dates: Apr, 26, May 3, 10, 17*

    *This does not include certification dates.

  • • Work hours will range from 30-45 hours a week, across 5-6   days, at a rate of $17/hour.

    •  Must be certified to lead activities. We will provide and pay for the necessary training.

    •  Can only request off 7 days from May 23-July 31 and it cannot be a “blackout” date. Blackout dates are days that require the highest number of staff in order to effectively serve our guests. 

    •  Black out dates include: June 4-5, June 7-9, June 28-30,
    July 14-15, July 17-19, July 21-23, July 25-27

    • Responsibilities will include supporting various positions such as

    • Adventure Zone Activities, Housekeeping, Snack Shack,
    Culinary, and more!
